The real case that drove our way.
It all started in 2016, when Javi Marcos, Co-founder and CEO of Mapit, had his motorbike’s exhaust pipe stolen. This incident revealed an essential need: to be connected to your bike at all times.
Together with Andrés Aranda, Co-Founder, and Bruno Aranda, CTO, they transformed this challenge into a cutting-edge IoT technology solution: Mapit, an app that connects you to your bike in real time.
The efficiency was demonstrated when Javi’s motorbike was stolen in Barcelona and, thanks to Mapit, he was able to recover it instantly.
This innovation led Honda to rely on Mapit as a strategic partner since 2017, an alliance that today already allows more than 100,00 users to be always connected to their bike.
